The Solar Winds play live music for all occasions including weddings, receptions for weddings and other events, holiday parties and other parties and special occasions. The Solar Winds group is located in Houston, Texas and is a professional wind ensemble that plays classical music and other musical selections. The primary musical group consists of a flute, French horn, oboe, bassoon and clarinet. The Solar Winds are available for both formal and informal settings. Our musicians have played with the Houston Sinfonietta, Houston Community Orchestra, Campanile Orchestra, Galveston Symphony, Beaumont Symphony, Houston Pops, Theatre Under the Stars and the Houston Ballet Orchestra. Solar Winds musicians are graduates from well-known schools such as the Shepherd School of Music, the Eastman School of Music in New York and the University of Houston.
